Doha College Awards Ceremony 2026

The Doha College community recently came together for one of the most anticipated events of the academic year, the annual Secondary Awards Ceremony, an evening dedicated to recognising the exceptional achievements, commitment and character of our pupils.

Attended by proud families and staff, the ceremony celebrated the many ways in which pupils have excelled throughout the year. From outstanding academic attainment to leadership, service and personal growth, each award reflected the dedication, resilience and ambition that underpin life at Doha College.

At the heart of the ceremony were the Academic Subject Awards, recognising pupils who have demonstrated exceptional achievement across their subjects throughout the academic year.

Alongside the Subject Awards, this year marked the introduction of the new Learner Profile Awards, presented by Heads of Year to celebrate pupils who consistently embody the values that define a Doha College learner. These inaugural awards recognised pupils who act with kindness, honesty and empathy, strive to be the best version of themselves, celebrate diversity and inclusivity, and seek challenge while embracing new experiences.

Adding to the occasion were a series of captivating performances by our pupils, providing moments of reflection and celebration throughout the evening while showcasing the remarkable breadth of talent within our school community.

One of the evening's most prestigious honours was the presentation of the COBIS Pupil Achievement Award to Amanda M, in recognition of her exceptional contribution to the wider school community.

Presented by the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), the award celebrates pupils who demonstrate outstanding achievement and embody the values of an international education.

As Deputy Head Girl, Amanda has made an extraordinary impact through her warmth, integrity and unwavering commitment to serving others. Whether leading whole-school initiatives, supporting fellow pupil leaders, resolving challenges within the student body or captaining a championship-winning netball team, she has consistently inspired those around her. Her dedication, resilience and ability to empower others make her a truly deserving recipient of this prestigious award.

The ceremony also recognised the outstanding contributions of pupils involved in Doha College Model United Nations (DCMUN), a programme that continues to provide pupils with invaluable opportunities to develop leadership, diplomacy and collaboration on both local and international issues.

Throughout another exceptional year, DCMUN pupils have demonstrated initiative, professionalism and a genuine commitment to serving their peers while creating meaningful opportunities for younger delegates to develop their own confidence and leadership skills.

The Secondary Awards Ceremony was a fitting celebration of another exceptional year at Doha College.

Congratulations to every pupil recognised during the evening. Your achievements, perseverance and commitment to our community are an inspiration, and we look forward to seeing what you accomplish in the years ahead.
